The AKASH Deployment Dethermalizer is one of the only model rocketry DTs able to sense deployment. This DT is designed for FAI rockets and performs best in S3 (parachute) due to its small size. The DT works by releasing parachute shroud lines by burning a rubber band. It features a programmable timer that programs in steps of 15 seconds, it additionally includes a testing mode (5 seconds) and competition mode (5 minutes - 300 seconds). This DT uses a Micro JST connector that attaches to a 40Mah 3.7V battery.
This DT was used in the WSMC 2023 word cup.
